It was something I did with my mom. We would attend Saturday's open-houses of homes in our region. We would then end up discussing what we like/disliked about a certain property. Because of this I think I am rather picky when it comes to houses and the majority of Utah houses just don't fit that bill for me. I love southern style homes with wrap around porches and a feeling of ease. I like yards where kids have room to run around. It kinda bugs me when garages are in the front of the houses. I like them to the side, around back, or just detached. And I LOVE laundry rooms. There are many more feature that I could go on and on about but I won't bore with all the details.
Anyways I found yesterday the house that made the little girl inside of me squeal in delight. And though I will probably never live in this house, I found the Utah home that is close to my southern heart.

OH I do so love the wrap around porch too! I wish I had one on my house. And then I wish I actually spent more time on the screened in porch I actually have.
As far as laundry rooms go, that one is bigger than my entire house!!
I first thought the laundry room was the kitchen-and I was still impressed! I love love love big porches! And huge lawns, when we lived in Iowa we had a huge lawn and my dad would mom a baseball diamond in it for us before he cut the whole thing, it was awesome!

Holy cow, that is an amazing house! And the laundry room is completely to die for. I've been house hunting lately myself- Ryan and I are thinking that when we move we're gonna buy a house, so I'm checking out prices and options as well. This house is completely beautiful!

I'm in love with that laundry room too! It's awesome!!! Perfection as laundry rooms go. Exactly what I want! A laundry room that also quadruples as a craft/sewing/wrapping room and is big enough for those things! Oh & with a laundry shoot! Just like this one!
