Progress you ask?

Well I was doing really well...

I got sick this past week so it has been kind of a whirlwind. I am about half way through my book and I am loving it! Can't wait to see where it goes. Luckily, I have about 10 days to finish it. As long as I am diligent I might be able to reach my goal!

As for the diet, I did lose weight being sick, but it isn't quite what I was going for ;)

I am trying slim in 6. I read a ton of reviews and it is geared towards women. Plus, it has a money back guarantee so if I don't see any results I will just return it. I am planning to start sometime between Wednesday and Monday. I want to be completely well so I can hit the ground running on this program.

I also have plans on starting a garden! I am actually really excited about this. I use to love working in the garden at my parents house but we haven't had any place (or be there long enough) for a garden. I am still planning what seeds I want to plant but after I figure that out I am hoping to have it all planted by March (Its so nice that my birthday is spring time again. Cough, Rexburg, Cough)

New Year's Resolutions

I guess you could call it New Year's resolution, though I have been working them since December. I have read and been told that writing down goals make them more likely to be achieved so I figure I might as well sh are some.

My first goal is reading. I use to spend hours reading but since having addie I haven't taken the time to. My plan is to at least 1 book each month that I have never read before. My goal is at least 2 books overall each month.

My December books were the Princess Academy and Emma.

For January, I reading The help. I have just started but it came highly recommended to me.

My Second Goal is to lose 10 lbs, not just to loose weight, but to be healthier. I want to establish a healthy exercise regime for myself. I am planning on getting pregnant sometime this coming year so I need to be able have the habits in place so that I will be able to push through the pregnancy feelings, emotions, sickness so that when I am done having the next one I will be able to bounce back faster than I did this last time.

I am planning on doing monthly updates for my sake. Don't worry about reading them if you don't want to. Also, If you have any recommendations (books in general but really anything) feel free to leave them!

Holidays

So now that things have settled down around here I figure I could tell you all about our adventurous holidays. I did not get alot of pictures because I was so busy having fun!

We spent Christmas at home. We made gingerbread houses, and it turns out that both Jer and I are terrible gingerbread house makers. Addie really enjoyed it just the same though. She took a couple of bits out of several of the pieces.

Our sad excuse for a gingerbread house :)

Christmas day was great. Addie didn't quite know what to do with presents as you can see in video.

After our festivities we left the next day to my parents house. We planned on staying 3 days and we stayed 4. Not only were the majority of my younger siblings (all but one) but I was also able to see by big sister steph and her family, who I have missed alot since moving back east.

We played many, many games. As we watson's do.

We went to visit Jeremy's sister, Cindy, who we were only planning on spending a day with. But decided to ring in the new year with along with Jeremy's brother, Ben and his family.

My younger sister, Carly, decided she wanted to come home with Jer and I to be able to play in the snow we got a couple of weeks ago (we still have some). So the day after we arrive home, my parents come to pick her back up. We had them with us until Sunday. We played games, laughed, and talked.

We were also able to see 2 of Jeremy's best friends over the last couple of days, since they are both here on winter break from school.

All in all it was a really fun and crazy holiday for us!

I have many more updates, but seeing how it is now past 12:00, I believe it is time for me to retire to my bedchamber. Love you all!
