Shots and Swing

Addie got her shots today. Jer and I hide in the corner and waited till the nurse was done then we came back and she was happy! It was nice have her so happy to see us.

The other day I decided to put Addie in her swing while I did the dishes. She seemed really happy with this arrangement which is nice cause she use to be really picky about the swing. I turned around and about 5 minutes later this is what I found.

'Oink oink'

So since I was a teenager...well maybe sooner...I have had days that I have lovingly come to call 'Bottomless pit'. Now bottomless pit days (normally worse at night) are very easy to explain. It exactly what it sounds like, I have a bottomless pit. While this was no problem while a teenager, it could get awkward (well for me) when I went to college. I would try to mask it when I went on dates but I still could normally out eat my dates. I remember once a friend and I ordered 5 pizzas (it was a 5 for 5 deal!) and we polished off all but one (we did dip into that last one though)!
Snacks are always bad for me in the first place (popcorn especially!) because I will eat an entire bag/container/truck full (well the last one may be an exaggeration) without ever realizing it.
Well, it seemed to go away since I got married. I was like cool! My husband won't see me pig out right away. Well turns out breastfeeding made it come back. That's right people. I am polishing food off like it's going out of style!!! And with my baby particular with what I eat I am cooking up a storm! And now I out eat my husband. The only reason I think I am not freaking out is because I have been exercising my butt off (as much as I am allowed to with out getting in trouble)

Cali meets Buddy

Sam and Emily came to visit us and brought there new miniature dachshund. The interaction between Cali and Buddy was SO funny. Cali has never been around another animal so she was very curious.

Sometimes it's hard to wait one week...

So I did it. I busted out the camera and put Addie in her blessing gown. It was so fun!

So funny story

So I think addie resembles a who (from whoville). This thought has increase the older she has gotten. I think its adorable, everybody likes whos. I am waiting for her hair to get long enough to be able to put her hair straight up in a pony tail.
Anyways, I was talking to my mother about this and she just cracks up laughing. She tells me that everyone use to say that about me when i was younger. So I guess it just runs in the family.

So I know...I'm a little sad with 3 post in the last 24 hours...

But i took a a bunch of photos and they were so cute.

Bath time and Daddy torture

Bath time with Addie is happy time. You do have to keep an eye on her cause the little she can move she does during this time trying to immerse herself in the water.

So Jer had just used the flash in this photo...I love the deer-caught-in-the-headlight look she has.







Just washing her hair...she had just smiled before this shot. I will catch it on camera one of these days.






So I was actually blow drying her hair. I wish I had taken a video of it cause her response was awesome. She kept turning her face into it. I'm laughing thinking about it.






So Jer isn't actually torturing her but she was crying like he was.

Addie really likes bath time, so much so that she is irate whenever we take her out of the water. She is unhappy until she is fully clothed and being held and then she finally calms down.

Have you ever looked at a photo and though "Wow, my baby is so much cuter than that!!!"

I feel that way in two instances...pictures that don't quite turn out of Addie and one other...



This was Addie sleeping today. She's so cute!!!!

















Poor Addie had a rash and her face and it got a little swollen.
