Just making sure you were alive...Love you!
Ok so as a wife and new mommy I can get a little over anxious. Not that I'm obsessive, because I'm not. I was blessed to get my father's go-with-the-flow attitude.
I have been having trouble sleeping lately (mix between sickness and....well I don't know what, but something) so Jer was so sweet he gave me the morning off.
He had several errands to run this morning so he grabbed addie when she woke up, fed her, came and gave me a kiss said he would be back in about an hour and a half. It was nice.
After I finally got out of bed at about 9:30, I took a nice long shower and straighten up the bedroom and bathroom. Still had some time to kill (no baby to keep to a schedule) so I thought I would check out a new show (Glee).
I got through 2 (maybe 3...can't remember) episodes before I started to worry. I hadn't heard anything from him since he left and he had my baby girl. I calmed myself down. He is responsible and I love him...but I gave him a call just in case.
No answer.
I finished getting ready for the day and went to throw a load of laundry in. He hadn't called me back or sent me a text and it had been more than an hour over his 'projected' time table. So I gave him another call.
No answer again.
I have always had a vivid imagination and it just EXPLODED with all the possibilities of why he was not answering his phone. I knew where he was going and what he was planning on doing so he should have his phone on him (he has a little carrier so I know he has it) It took me 10 min before I picked up that phone again.
Then I called. No answer. Called again. No answer. One more time and if he doesn't answer I'm calling the police...
"Hey honey, what you doing? (With a smile on his face...I heard it)"
Pant, Pant. Sigh.
"Oh nothing, just making sure you were alive."
"Let me call you right back"
"Ok, love you!"
"Love you too."
No worries. He's ok (and my baby girl too). I know now :)

Halloween
Happy belated Halloween everyone!!!
I absolutely love this time of year. Not only is fall my favorite season, but its also the approach of the holiday season. Yay!
So here is our Halloween activities.
Anyone who knows me (or seen me carve a pumpkin) knows that my skills are lacking. I use to carve the same pumpkin year after year, well that is until last year. I bought the pumpkin carving kits and now my pumpkins are cool.
This year I took on an intricate witch and Jer took on the simple, but cool cat. Unfortunately, Jer's cat did not quite make it to Halloween (it might have been because he accidentally cut off its tail, but you didn't hear it from me!)

Addie was very interested in the big orange thing, but was not going to touch the big goupy mess that came out of it. I wish that my battery hadn't died that night cause it was really funny.

So a few days before Halloween, I'm not really sure how it came up, but somehow I agree/suggested to go trick or treating with my elder sister. Then we recruited my other sister so we had all the grandkids together (on my family's side) trick or treating.

We had a fairy, knight, princess, Monkey, bug, and a ladybug.

Addie was a ladybug.

Addie was a big trooper. Jeremy carried her around and she was totally happy the entire time. She waved to some people, just kinda stared at the others.

Overall I think our first Halloween with a kid was a huge success.
