We started to carve our pumpkins outside because it was such a beautiful day.
I used the pregnancy card so Jeremy would scope out the guts to both his and my pumpkin. To say the least he had very orange hands.
So last year when we had our pumpkin carving contest Jeremy totally kicked my butt. I love crafty things but I am no artist. So this year I cheated. I got a pattern and put it on my pumpkin and I must say its the prettiest pumpkin I have ever carved!!!
And here they are lighted up!! (Jeremy had the witch and I had the ghost)
Anyways it was a ton of fun and we have a ton of candy leftover (we had like 15 trick or treaters) and we are looking forward to the next couple holidays and next year when we will have our baby girl.

wow those are some sweet lookin pumpkins! I dont think i could carve one like that even with a pattern.

We did not get one single trick or treater! It was kind of sad. (In past years I've always got 1 or 2 and that was in single student housing! But, we DO live right next to a for-real neighborhood so I guess it's not that surprising.)
