Okay, when i saw this at the blockbuster and Jer was trying to convince me that we should try it out I totally thought this was going to be the dumbest show ever. But I let him get it cause I was tired and didn't really care what we got.
This show is now on my like 'best 5 tv shows' list. It is awesome and not nearly what I thought it was gonna be. Its really clean and fun to watch as well as all reactions in the show are exactly how they would be in real life (in my opinion). Everyone should give this a try!
P.s. If you do happen to get really into this just a warning the 2nd season is really short. According to some guy we talked to, they canceled the show but brought it back because so many people wrote them.

Ok maria, I just had to tell you. Based on you and Jer saying something about it (maybe here on your blog?) I rented the BBC North & South this weekend because Mahon is working for 4 hours tonight and going to the priesthood session tomorrow and all my friends are out of town so it's just gonna be little old me. I started watching it today and am really enjoying it so far! :) so thanks for the recommendation!
I'm glad you are liking it Cindy. I really loved it...well I was a little disappointed how they wrapped things up but I liked it other than that.
Have you watched the BBC version of Wives and Daughters (also by Elizabeth Gaskell)? I LOVED the ending of that one! ;) It put me in a good mood for days!
Ok, so I finished the movie last night... out of curiosity, what was it that you didn't like about the way they wrapped it up?
I just didn't think it matched up with the rest of it and it felt a little hurried. Happy ending though :)

Yeah, I agree... I wished that they had shown a little more at the ending!
