My busy/exciting month pt 1

Okay I am home with not a lot on my plate...for today. I am going to start potty training this weekend or the beginning of next week - which is exciting but I expect will require quite a bit of work. So here is what I have been doing recently

Let's see...I went to my parents house more than a month ago. They were taking there 25th anniversary trip (Congratulations Mama & Papa!!!) Jeremy flew out to Mississippi for 5 weeks. I ended up staying at my parents for a little more than 2 weeks then headed home by myself.

Here is Addie "driving" (She already wants to drive. Thought I wouldn't have to deal with that for a couple of years lol)

Addie wanting to go into Nana's Big car.

Oh, I forgot to mention that while I was visiting my parents my little brother turn 18 *Sniff Sniff*

We got him a cake with a bow on it instead of writing his name on it (his nickname is Boe...I found it funny :)

Back to the Adventures - I was home for a week when my little sister and her friend came to visit me. I have no idea how fun it was. I had obligations and responsibilities that I had on my plate but they went along with everything pretty well. I did try to make their time not a complete bore. We got ice cream, went to a party, and I took them up to Pisgah.

First we went to Looking Glass falls.

It was a beautiful day. There were people climbing around the side and jumping close to where the falls were. I told the girls they could do it only if they went out and swam the area first ( I might have also said that I had Addie with me and if they injured themselves I could not save them lol) They decided not to do that.

They did go out and climb on the rocks and the shallow area of the water. Addie was rather intimidated by the noise the waterfall made so she didn't go close. By the time we left though she wanted to stay forever. She loved it and talked about it for days!

After the falls we did go in search of a rope swing Jeremy told me about. We were unsuccessful in finding it :( I think I know where it is now but I could not get to it because there were a bunch of people camping there.

The girls did hop into the river and swim a little bit. But it hadn't broke 80 yet so me and Addie held back and played on the bank while they did that.

To be continued....

The one where I let my OCD shine threw

Hi Everyone! So I know it's been like a month since i posted but you know how it is since most of you are incredible, yet busy people who have children.
Just a quick update -
Addie: So adorable (as always.) I do believe that Speech is already her main mode of communication now - I guess she is a Watson ;)
She like to pretend to be asleep even though her eyes are wide open and Sings CONSTANTLY.
Little Squirt: He kicks ALL the time...okay not constantly but I am worried that by the time I am finally at get to the end of this he is going to break a rib or something. Other than that things look good and healthy.
All of us except daddy: The majority of us are at my Mom's house in Garner, NC. My parents went on a cruise with some old Joy school friends for their 25th wedding anniversary (which technically isn't for another month, but who cares!) So I house/baby - ahem, I have been corrected :) - teenager sit for them while they went. I will be here for a little while longer than I will make the trek home to my own bed *sigh*
Daddy: I have been trying to call Jeremy daddy because Addie keeps calling him Jer - but only when she needs him to accomplish something for her. I have no idea where she picked that up ;) Well daddy is currently in Mississippi. Working hard and being the incredible man that he is. I love how hard he works and how he tries to make our lives better.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

So now on to why I originally started this post. I have had a LITTLE bit of trouble with my OCD since I have become pregnant. Especially in the last month. Now I have always liked things planned and things to have a place - clutter has begun to really frustrated me. So before we left for my parents I had clean my entire house (not like a deep cleaning) and organize and clean my garage (this WAS a deep cleaning) I will have to post on that later. Anyway I found great satisfaction after I did those things. I am smiling just thinking about it.
After having such success on that project my mind started reeling with other things that I "HAVE" to do and I have to keep reminding that I don't "HAVE" to do these things.

Well then I was on my normally blog check and I found this image below (Isabella & Max's Rooms) and I saw that mesh basket and got so excited. You see I have a family notebook where I keep important info but it really has nowhere to go. It just sits around which annoys me (again Prego OCD taking over) So a plan has been formulating in my brain. In a week or two, when I get home I will probably post about it on my other blog (so stay tuned to that.)

NOW for what made me super excited. As part of my research I found this website call Iheartorganizing I was so impressed and excited by most of her projects. I am excited to try a few of them out. For example, She has gotten her 5 year old to fold his own laundry! I am super excited to try that in a year or two because I really hate folding laundry. Anyway she has become a regular read for me.

When I finally get home I will make sure to put up some photos so that you don't have to be bothered by the rantings of a Pregnant woman ;)
