Let's see...I went to my parents house more than a month ago. They were taking there 25th anniversary trip (Congratulations Mama & Papa!!!) Jeremy flew out to Mississippi for 5 weeks. I ended up staying at my parents for a little more than 2 weeks then headed home by myself.
Here is Addie "driving" (She already wants to drive. Thought I wouldn't have to deal with that for a couple of years lol)
Addie wanting to go into Nana's Big car.
Oh, I forgot to mention that while I was visiting my parents my little brother turn 18 *Sniff Sniff*
We got him a cake with a bow on it instead of writing his name on it (his nickname is Boe...I found it funny :)
Back to the Adventures - I was home for a week when my little sister and her friend came to visit me. I have no idea how fun it was. I had obligations and responsibilities that I had on my plate but they went along with everything pretty well. I did try to make their time not a complete bore. We got ice cream, went to a party, and I took them up to Pisgah.
First we went to Looking Glass falls.
It was a beautiful day. There were people climbing around the side and jumping close to where the falls were. I told the girls they could do it only if they went out and swam the area first ( I might have also said that I had Addie with me and if they injured themselves I could not save them lol) They decided not to do that.
They did go out and climb on the rocks and the shallow area of the water. Addie was rather intimidated by the noise the waterfall made so she didn't go close. By the time we left though she wanted to stay forever. She loved it and talked about it for days!
After the falls we did go in search of a rope swing Jeremy told me about. We were unsuccessful in finding it :( I think I know where it is now but I could not get to it because there were a bunch of people camping there.
The girls did hop into the river and swim a little bit. But it hadn't broke 80 yet so me and Addie held back and played on the bank while they did that.
To be continued....
