One of those moments for me was going to yard sales. I would be woken up so early and was so groggy the entire time, that I hated that my mother would drag me along. My last couple of years at home I would avoid them like the plague. "With school, work, and seminary the last thing I needed to do was go look at junk way early in the morning." was my thinking.
However, we would most times than not, go antiquing at the end of the day. I am not sure if she knew the love I had for antiques or if it was her own passion. Possible her own love that was passed on to me. Who knows I suppose.

Found on Craigslist- How gorgeous is this! A 1940 oak dresser. I ♥ this! Sigh.

With all that said, I have been looking for a new entertainment center. Ours is currently a chest of drawers that addie has learned to climb right before we left. And while in Montana Addie has also learned to open dvd cases (yipee!)
Note: I get rather obsess when I get ideas in my head. I do as much research as possible so I have a good idea if it is possible, and if so how much, and what options are open to me that would fulfill my need.
After comparing prices of those options currently available to me I have decided to redo a cheap(er) entertainment center. Most of these are safety reason with a dash of storage in there.
My inspiration piece- From PureStyleHome.blogspot.com
I love the internet. You can google what you are trying to do and it will bring up instructions/show you what others have done. That is how I got my inspiration piece. PureStyleHome and LifeintheFunLane among others have given me so many ideas. I am ready to start as soon as I get Home!
So if anyone wants to come do some antiquing and cheap furniture shopping with me. I will be doing so as soon as I get back. ;)
