Things my Mom taught me*

1)Jeremy- Babies go silent when they find something really good.

As many of you know we have a cat. She is a really sweet mannered cat but you must have the litter box. We have done really well of keeping addie away from it as well as her food. The other day addie got really quite. I turn around in time to see her making a b line for the cali section. She had crawled around the obstacles we had set up for her. Luckily I cut her off just in time :) (Pant, Pant)

2)Maria- Doesn't matter how many toys they have it is the simplest things that entertain them.

Ya. She's adorable. Just so you know she pulled her lip later on with the hanger and she was rather upset about it. Though she's playing with the hanger she prefers the remote and the computer.
(She also loves her toys too but only in the morning or if I am playing with her)

3) Maria- Everyone needs you when you are doing something (alot of the time for yourself)

So I have taken up yoga. I need something to help me lose weight a little faster than just walking and lifting the weights that I have been doing. Of course though when ever I am doing this Cali things its time for me to pet her, addie thinks I'm a jungle gym Luckily I have started finding away to avoid this...I either do it when addie is asleep or when Jer is here (sometimes the addition of another person doesn't solve the problem.)

*Our mothers taught us alot...if we were to list them the list would be way to long :)

To be continued...

In other news, We took addie to an opthomologist an addie is a little far sighted causing her one eye to have trouble focusing. We have had to put a patch on her and do excercises with her. Here is a pic of the patch :)

Nice patch, doesshe try to take it off?

The eye patch is like a bandaid so she dosent even seem to know it's on and she deffinatly cant remove it on her own.

What a cute post. I totally know what you mean....every time I stop hearing Maya, she goes dead silent. Especially if she knows she's not supposed to be into it. How funny are kids...they are so sneaky! (they are way smarter than we sometimes give them credit.) good luck with her eye!

We have a farsighted kid too! I thought for a while we might have to do a patch but in the end it was just the glasses...

As far as toys go--buy more hangers! ;)

yah she's cute and a little crosseyed, luckily she dosnt have heart murmors, or kidney problems, we will happily deal with a little far sighted.
