Where are those Watson's at?

Well we are in Riverside, ca!

So I was thinking of all the places we have lived and I thought, hey wouldn't it be fun to do a running list for everyone? So here we go...

1) Dublin, CA- Our first married apartment

Dublin is close to San Jose. We had most of our first moments in Dublin. I even went and visited Jeremy there while we were engaged. Jer said it was really pretty when he first got there, but by the time I came to live there everything was...well, brown (ok so im reading this and editing, 1st important point, the apartment was not brown all over when she came to visit, I did not rub the appartment with paint or poo which is how this may read. when i arrived in California it was covered with beautiful cloverfields a flourescent green all over the mountians. By the time she came however, the clover had cooked and the hills were brown.)

Fun Facts/highlights:
  • We got Cali (our cat, we named her Cali as an ode to california and she is a Calico it seemed suiting) while living there
  • Our church building was probably the prettiest of all church buildings I've seen

2) Rexburg, ID- The place we almost bought

We almost bought a condo in rexburg, but we decided not to after the mortgage crisis happened. It turned out to be the right decision since we felt that we should return to BYU-I a few months later.

3) Rexburg, ID- The place where we both were sick

We moved into another (which was a basement appartment, the entire lower floor of a big house, much bigger than we needed but we enjoyed the orange carpet, the extra rooms and the orange carpet) apartment in October and finished off that sememster. That winter, however, was a bad flu/virus season in rexburg, and of course we caught them. Jer even caught broncitis before we left there. Jer ended up having to pull out and I decided to drop a couple of classes. (the bronchitis became chronic bronchitis and hounded us for the rest of the year)

Fun Facts/Highlights:
  • Rexburg temple was dedicated
  • We were able to leave school early (yay for classes that allow you to end early!) and take a huge cross country road trip.

4)Silver Springs, MD- Where we found out I was pregnant...

Well I had suspension while we were visiting Jer's brothers before we got there. I really didn't have bad morning sickness but smells killed me. I had all types of aversions so it was hard for me to eat...I believe I lost like 14 lbs before I was able to start eating again. Silver Springs had a really cool downtown feel, however, the service industry was terrible.

Fun Facts/Highlights:
  • We were literally blocks away from D.C. (we watched fireworks from out balcony)
  • We lived on the 12th floor and there were many above us

5)Pleasant Grove, UT- Where are all the apartments?!?!?!

We arrived in Pleasant Grove banking on it taking two weeks max to find a place...it didn't...took a month and a half. Jeff and Amber were so kind and let us stay with them.

Fun Facts/Highlights:
  • We have 6 siblings and there families living within an hour drive of PG and Orem

6)Orem, UT- Found one!

Our Orem aptartment was great. You couldn't beat the location! 5 mins and less from shopping, school, and the hospital. Plus we had an great ward (my favorite so far)

Fun Facts/Highlights:
  • I graduated!
  • Addie was born

7)Palm Desert, CA- Best Apartment ever!!! (well so far...)

I was so in love with this apartment and this area. We only shared one wall/floor/ceiling with someone but for all I know, no one lived there. It was hot, really hot. I didn't go out between 11 and 3 if I could help it. Luckily it was a dry heat so I didn't feel like I was drowning (anyone who has ever lived in the south during the summer knows what I mean!)

Fun Facts/Highlights:
  • Many amazing outlet stores close by
  • 2 pools...why? I don't know
  • My favorite provided location so far

8)Riverside, CA- Where we are now

Well I just got here so its nice so far...lots of traffic. But our complex has really pretty walking paths so that nice for me and Addie.

Ha, it sounds fun! Actually it reminds me a lot of me and Ryan's life. Except we have only made 6 moves and I think we are in one spot for awhile. I got really tired of moving place to place after a while and its great to be where we are. You sound like you have had lots of adventures! Keep doing em, they are awesome memories!

Also, I'm guess you had your "suspicions" that you were pregnant and not "suspensions" (nice proof reading, Jer! lol) It took me quite a few read throughs to figure out WHAT you were talking about! LOL Maybe I'm too tired. Awesome picture of the temple & your apartments look so nice! What an adventure you guys have had!
