Wedding Tag

I thought this was appropriate considering...

1. What date is your Anniversary
June of 2007

2. Where did you get married?
Washington D.C. temple

3. Who proposed and how?
Jeremy proposed by taking me out to a field where we attempted to fly a kite. We tried maybe 5 or 6 times but the wind just wasn't blowing hard enough to get it up so instead we started to wind it up (you could say i "reeled him in") and when he got to me he sat the kite down and grabbed my hand and started to dance with me. I wish I could tell you what he hummed but I honestly don't remember. Anyways, so he started to tell me many things, including that i felt like home to him and then all the sudden before I realized what happened he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I honestly don't really remember even looking at the ring I just hugged him and answered "Yes!"

4. How long were you engaged?
We were engaged a little longer than 3 months...though we knew before that.

5. What was the favorite part of your wedding day? (besides who you were marrying, hopefully)
Being completely confident that it was the right choice. I didn't get any jitters or anxiety. Oh! Actually one of my favorite moments was driving to the temple. It was Jer and I and we had to take a detour (cause traffic was horrible) so we were taking these back roads and I remember this calm, loving feeling coming over me as I sat there holding his hand knowing that it was going to be us forever.

6. What would you change if you could?
I can't honestly think of a thing to change...I just didn't care that much (which meant it wasn't important) or it turned out great anyways. So ya.

Remembered...my hair. The day we got married. I wish my hair was different.

7.Wedding colors?
Oh I honestly couldn't tell you if I wanted to...It was suppose to be lavender and yellow (pale...almost creme) ...then i threw in pink cause we had some pink flowers. Then I don't know what happened. It just turned into to many chefs I suppose.

8.Do you remember anything special from your ceremony? Any good advice? A comical moment?
A)
From my ceremony it is still all a blur. My favorite thing must of been being surrounded by family.

B) Advice...I can think of two things. First, don't force a relationship. If it is suppose to be it will be. Its best to just trust in Heavenly Father and He will lead you along the right path (though it may get bumpy). Second, It is your wedding...don't let people push you into things you don't want to do. You'll be happier you didn't. At the same time don't be a horror to everyone around you.
C) Comical. My cake leaned. It was very funny. I honestly haven't seen my cake except that one time but I got pictures and its great to laugh at.

9.Were you clean or messy when you cut your wedding cake?

We were clean.

10.Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We were in the mountains of Western NC. It was absolutely gorgeous and I wouldn't change a thing.

11.How long have you been married now?
We will be married 1 year in about 2 weeks.

I'm so glad you did this tag! There was a lot of things I didn't know about you're special day. (I'm sorry about your hair, That's how I felt about my hair on the day of the reception, but oh well, who cares, right?!?)
Are you done with The Host yet?

Hey, funny...I was going to say that I would have changed my hair also! I guess it's just the fact that I would have had a designated hair person. I say we all gang up for Carly's and make sure her wedding is in the afternoon so that we can get her to a hairdresser in the morning and we can all have enough time to get ready without stressing out...
I know, I know - I'm a goof-ball!
