Easter (a month later...)

I am trying to be better about blogging...It's not going so hot. Even now as I sit down, I can hear one of my kids fussing in their sleep. Which could be nothing or it could be a sign that I will get woken up several times tonight - Not that I'm complaining. I would do anything for my kids, and even though my body doesn't quite appreciate the interrupted sleep, something tells me that I will miss those moments when they are gone. Any way, back on topic. Easter.

This past Easter was probably one of the best ones we have ever had. We actually did family breakfast on Saturday since we have church at 9 and there is no desire in me to wake up make a big dinner AND get the kids ready and to church on time - not even a little bit.

After that we had a normal saturday of cleaning, relaxing, and playing together. Then we dyed eggs. The kids loved it so much that next year I will probably have to make more eggs.

The next morning after church I decided to grab my camera and take some bubbles to the park (It was a gorgeous day out.)

The Easter bunny came to our house after we took naps...I will probably change this to Saturday from now on, but it was not in the stars this year.

Barrett needed to find 'one more,'

and that was basically our Easter.

Blogging just isn't what it use to be...

I guess it's because having two littles is not conducive with blogging...that or because life has been a little wonky since the beginning of the year. I'm going to let this play catch up. My last real post was about my resolutions, which is sad when I notice its almost May now.

January and February were pretty chill. It was all about errands and learning my camera (aka taking a ton of photos just trying to remember the things I learned 10 years ago. Can I just say technology has changed a lot in 10 years.) I was soooo over Winter by mid February so I made plans to tag along with Jeremy on one of his business seminars in SoCal (I told Jeremy it was my birthday present.) Unfortunately, the day after my birthday and a week before we were going to California, my abuelo past away. So all of the Juarez's left our homes and made our way to Dallas. While we all miss him, we felt surrounded by the love that he felt for us and the love we had for each other.

The day after I got back from Dallas, we left for California. Honestly, it was the emotional recharge I had been needing. It's amazing what warmer weather and beaches can do.

Life is going pretty well here. I have been doing spring cleaning, which is...annoying before and during, but very satisfactory after.

My mom came to visit :) She came because my sister just had her fourth and she finally got a girl. It was so wonderful to see her and my sister carly.

She made her world famous cinnamon rolls. It took everyone's self control not to them all and run.

I will do an Easter post soon. I got have a LOT of photos ;)
