Since moving to utah there has been a wedding and a baby blessing, 2 bouts of sicknesses that effected everyone but Jeremy, 3 out of state trips by Jeremy, at least 4 family get together (i am betting more,) 7 days of house hunting, and about a million boxes to unpack. Of course i didn't have my camera for any it till last week.
We are happy, ::fingers crossed:: healthy, and loving our lives.

30 things - Describe a typical day in your current life
I am bound and determined to finish this! And since I still can't find the charger for my camera it seemed like a good time to sit down and write.
--------------------------------------------------------
My typical life seems distant right now. I just feel like I am holding on till my family can be rejoined. So I will explain my typical day when life is not a complete whirlwind.
7:30 I hear the stirrings of my little ones. They typically don't wake up yet but I hear them working towards it. I groan inwardly for the days when I use to wake up whenever I wanted.
8:00 We are all normally up and about at this time. If Jeremy isn't working immediately sometimes I get to sleep an extra 30 min (It's a big deal.) I get the kids breakfast and I eat something not to heavy (unless it is Saturday, we tend to do something special then) I also check my meal list to see if I have to thaw anything for dinner.
8:45 I work out for 30 min to an hour while the kids either play with Jer or wreak havoc all over (lol not really but sometimes) If I shower before I work out it just doesn't happen. Like ever.
10:00 I am dressed, showered, and ready to mingle (so long as it isn't a lazy day.) This is when we tend to go out. Shopping, parks, library's, any other gaggle of errands that might have made it on the list. The goal is to not be tied to home if we can help it. When we are home (which let's face it tends to be like 70% of the time) We do crafts, play games, anything I can think of.
12:30 Lunch time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Weird void between lunch and nap time. Never do the same thing; clean, watch show, do flips, outside, crafts, pretty much whatever goes.
2:00 NAP TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- I rest. FB, Pinterest, Book, scripture study, nap, blogging, etc. If it is going to happen it happens at this time. Oh ya, I tend to be in pjs and unless something else is happening they tend to stay on.
4:30 Ah yes, the beasts awake. Then comes snack time. The kids have free play. They can do whatever they want as long as I am not involved*. Their favorites? Coloring, playing with their car mat, dress up, superheroes, etc.
*Yah, when I say I am not involved, I tend to still be in the thick of things. I just try. It is getting easier the older they get.
5:30 (somewhere around here) I do dinner prep while the kids watch a show or two or continue their free play.
6:30 Dinner tends to be on the table now. I get lots of ohhs and ahhs and everyone eats their vegetables while enjoying enlightening conversation (Did you catch the sarcasm?)
7:30 As soon as this time happens it is less than an hour till bed time. We (I) do a celebratory dance for we (I) made it to the final stretch! Bath time tends to happen in this area.
8:15 Pajamas, teeth brushed, Scriptures, Prayers, Book and song.
8:30 Lights out for babies (Addie get to get out of bed x2. And she uses it.), I do a 15 minute clean up (or my house turns to garbage.) If it is a bigger job than I turn on a show that I haven't been keeping up on (which is all shows I watch) and go to town. Jeremy always tries to talk me out of the 15 min clean up. I don't really know why, probably because I make him come do it with me :D If I have any work that has to get done I do it now after the clean up.
9:30 or 10:00 I tend to always in bed by this time but I don't sleep till somewhere between 11 and 12 unless it has been a LONG day. I tend to read, watch a show, play a game, or have pillow talk with Jeremy. Anything that can be done from the comfort of my bed.
We do have if, and, and buts to pretty much everything I wrote down, but this as close as I could get to a normal day.

New Year Resolutions
“Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them.” -Albert Einstein
I actually did really well overall but it fell disconnected to me so I won't choose so many goals this year.
#1 Lose 10 to15lbs - I did loose 10 lbs :) But I think the thing I was most excited about is that I learned more about food and what I was putting in my body (and my families.) After my experimenting (in particular my clean eating experience) I felt like I was more fully living the word of wisdom.
#2 I needed to work on capturing and recording memories more via blogging, taking more photos, and journals - So I pretty much failed at the better blogging, well at least I felt like I did. I kept things up to date for the most part but I didn't quite go in depth as I wanted (by the way I am planning on finishing my 30 things) I did feel like I did really well with photographing moments and I did start the journals for the kids and I do write in them about every month.
#3 Focus on more spiritual things - I actually feel like I accomplished this pretty well. I sucked at FHE, the plan just didn't work with Jeremy's schedule, however, we did start some really great new traditions and I am excited to improve on them this year.
#4 Genealogy - I was a rock star at this at the beginning of the year. I have completed as much as I can with out getting help or paying for a service or going to foreign country. I learned some really great things and I also connected with a cousin of my fathers who I have never met before. So all in all I am happy with what I did.
Moving on. I love that quote on the top of the page, just wanted to say that really quick. I was actually having a tough time picking what to do this year. With the craziness that has been going on I thought of doing a theme for the year. I have seen that many people love theirs and I do believe that one day I will have to switch to that as responsibilities start piling up. After I had that thought, I figured this will probably be the last year I "can" do specific items that are just mine. So
#1 Gratitude - In college, I had a blessings journal. Something my professor challenge us to do to see the hand of the Lord more fully in our lives. I have so much to be grateful for already this year that I am pretty excited to start this. Instead of a journal I believe I will do a jar with strips of paper. This year will be full of change. I can feel it.
#2 Be a more involved parent - I should start by saying I do think I am a good mom, I just can see areas I could improve in. Sometimes they are more obvious than others. I know as our family grows and matures that it will harder to take those moments of peace just with each other. So what do I mean more involved? No, I will not be following my kids around all day looking doe eyed at them as they destroy my house (which happens on a daily basis.) My plans are developing and growing the more I think about it and I would imagine they will continue to do so. So my plans. I will try to have FHE on a regular basis. This has been so hard for us to do but I think it will be easier now that Jeremy has a "regular" job. We have a game plan. I would also like to do something special with them each month. Something we don't normally do. I would also like to have one-on-one time with each of them. Not sure time or how or whatever but I have a couple ideas and I report as things go along.
#3 Better at recording personal history - This one is a little more personal. I would like to start recording stories, thoughts, struggles, etc. And not only my own but I heard of this cool project where they would pull aside, those who were aging and ask them a bazillion questions and just let the talk. Stories would just come pouring out. I would like to have that. I am a strong believer that you should learn from the past and there is not better source than your family that surrounds you. I am pretty excited about this one. :)
So those are my goals. I actually think they are going to be pretty difficult but I am excited for the possibilities they possess.
